The Crowley family had Thanksgiving in St. George at our Club house, but on Friday. All of our children were here except Marty and family. He still is involved with the election. Kirby and Jim brought their 4-wheelers and most of the family spent their time at Sand Hollow playing in the sand. The smart ones went swimming in our pool. The rest of us cooked, ate, and visited. The last family to leave was Jim and they left after church on Sunday. It was a great time for all. Iola (posted 12/4)
The Perkins family, Arn's Mom and Dad,John & Sara, Dave and Lorin & Jennifer with Daren, Sara Camille, & Rebekah enjoyed Thanksgiving together at the Perkins home for one of our smaller family gatherings. Justin had to work at Walmart, Shawn and his family are at Oak Harbor Washington, and Teresa and her family went to Arizona for the holidays to spend time with Jeremy's grandmother. We enjoyed playing many different games afterwards. Taboo, Scattergories, Caroom, Apples to Apples, and one I can't remember that involved making the sounds of different animals. That got to be pretty intense! The Bryants stayed in Teresa's home and did not have to make the drive down Highway 6 in the dark. We went Christmas shopping the next two days. Rob & Kim with Robert, Lace, Allen & Sarah stayed home in Henderson for Thanksgiving. They had a relatively quiet and relaxing day with Rob's mother visiting. Kim (posted 11/30)
Brandon & Angie with Presley and Lee (Brandon's mother) went to Irene & Dee's and Shelley & Monica's for Thanksgiving dinner. Irene & Angie spent most of the day with Dee who was in the hospital recovering from surgery so Brandon, Lee & Shelley fixed dinner. They had a great day and Dee is healing pretty well. Carl & Ginny hosted a Thanksgiving dinner in Washington. In attendance were Dave & Shawna, Karen & Brent with Ethan & Joel, and Tom & Brooke with Jeremy. Mary & Heath with Amy stopped by for dessert and visiting. Christy's family had other plans. Ginny (posted 11/30)
