	2006 Thanksgiving stories

	Shawn & Kelly had a baby boy on Thursday, 11/9/2006. Jacob Thomas arrived at 7:20 a.m. weighing in at a whopping 8.3 pounds and 19-1/2 inches long. Dad says he has a good amount of dark hair but is sure it will turn blonde like the other boys. Kelly is doing fine only staying at the hospital one night. Everyone is doing OK, just a little tired and overwhelmed at times. Congratulations!!
October 2006
	Uncle Bob, Robert J. Reid (Mom's brother) passed away on 10/24/2006 due to a combination of his last stroke and cancer. Aunt Donna said he was heavily drugged with morphine and died peacefully in his black chair at home as he wanted. Uncle Bob wanted to be cremated and was adamant about not wanting a funeral service, Aunt Donna honored his request. With their children at the house, they had a scripture reading then went to the cemetery where one of the kids said a prayer over him. [copy of obituary, article]
September 2006
	Chelsea Beus marries Jordan McFarland in Port Angeles, WA on September 6, 2006.
	Mike & Selinda moved back to Price in early September. He is a regional planner for Carbon, Grand, Emery and San Juan with the Southeastern Utah Association of Local Government (SEUALG). They are staying with Sara & John until they either buy or build a new house.
